Giant T. rex roars into Manchester Museum
The Manchester Museum has recently purchased a cast of the skeleton of the second most complete Tyrannosaurus rex known to science.
The cast, which was made from a skeleton that was nearly 65per cent complete, will be unveiled on 3 November, along with a number of the original bones.
The largest land predator of all time, the T. rex was about 40 ft long, and 12ft high.
The Manchester Museum is part of The University of Manchester.
