Girl assaulted at Alton Towers
A teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a group of men at the Alton Towers theme park in Staffordshire on 29 April.
The three offenders were identified using CCTV footage and were arrested an by Staffordshire Police.
The attack took place while the girl was queuing for the Hex ride with three of her friends.
An Alton Towers spokesperson said: “The health, safety and welfare of our guests is our primary objective and we have a zero-tolerance approach to any person caught causing offence or injury to another guest.”
In a separate incident on 2 May, a young boy was taken critically ill at the Alton Towers hotel. He later died at North Staffs hospital
