Glamorgan CCC confirms Roberts' reappointment
Glamorgan County Cricket Club has confirmed that Nigel Roberts has rejoined the club as its deputy chair, just three days after tendering his resignation.
Roberts had stepped down from the position after his bid to take over from Paul Russell as chair at the next AGM was rejected by fellow members. However, Roberts' resignation has been withdrawn following talks with Russell and chief executive officer Alan Hamer on 10 December, witnessed by former chair David Morgan.
Roberts had been the fourth senior individual to resign following a strategic review, which saw former captain Jamie Dalrymple, director of cricket Matthew Maynard and president Peter Walker leave the Welsh county cricket side.
