Glasgow University presents nutrition and health for caterers conference
The University of Glasgow, in partnership with the British Hospitality Association (BHA) and several other leading hospitality organisations, has arranged a one-day conference at the Hilton Glasgow, entitled Nutrition and Health for Caterers.
Taking place on Thursday 21 February 2008, the event is aimed at caterers from various backgrounds providing extensive knowledge and practical information regarding the importance of healthy eating, special diets and food safety.
Healthy menus, ideas for exciting yet well balanced recipes and top tips will also all be shared at this very important event.
With the country’s growing obesity problem continually highlighted by the British media, the conference, which is now in its second year, will be extremely topical indeed.
Attendance is recommended for chefs, cooks, caterers and catering managers whatever the background and where ever the establishment.
