Glasgow to host European Judo Championships
The British Judo Association has announced that the 2015 European Judo Championships will be held at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.
This will mark the first time the event has returned to the UK in 20 years and will be Scotland's biggest ever judo event at the £113m, 5000-seater arena, which will also host the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The announcement comes as part of the £27m lottery funded Gold Event Series, which is aiming to bring 70 major championships to the UK by 2019.
