Gloucester Rugby chair passes away
Tom Walkinshaw, the chair of Gloucester Rugby and former engineering director of the Bennetton Formula One team, has passed away at the age of 64.
During his Formula One career, Walkinshaw was part of Bennetton's World Championship success in 1994 before becoming owner of the Arrows team in 1995. Walkinshaw became chair of Gloucester Rugby in 1997 and witnessed the club win the Zurich Championship (2002), the Powergen Cup (2003) and the European Challenge Cup (2006).
