Golden Tulip acquire three new hotels
The Golden Tulip Hospitality Group has recently added thee new hotels to its portfolio: the Golden Tulip Ajman, the Golden Tulip Sharjah and the Golden Tulip Al Barsha.
Scheduled to open early 2008, the five star Golden Tulip Ajman is located in United Arab Emirates (UAE), close to both Sharjah International and Dubai International airports. The hotel will boast 1,000 rooms, suites and apartments and will be the largest hotel in the Golden Tulip UAE portfolio.
Several swimming pools, a large gym and fitness centre, sauna and steam Jacuzzi are planned within the facility, as well as restaurants, food and beverage outlets, dedicated children play areas and a shopping arcade.
Also found within the UAE is the Golden Tulip Sharjah, a hotel comprised of 264 suites and apartments and due to open this October.
The hotel’s facilities also include major meeting and banquet areas, a shopping mall, children’s arcade and play zone, swimming pool, gym and health club.
Commenting on the acquisition of the Golden Tulip Sharjah, president and CEO of Golden Tulip Hospitality, said: “We are very proud to acquire this beautiful landmark in Sharjah, a city with great heritage and a true family destination.”
Located in the Al Barsha area of Dubai, Golden Tulip’s third UAE hotel opened its doors to the public on 1 June 2007.
Offering Lebanese, Chinese and Indian cuisine, the Golden Tulip Al Barsha also proffers an all day dining restaurant as well as a sports bar, night club, meeting facilities, internet connectivity throughout the hotel, a pool, fitness centre and a health club.
The four star, 125-room hotel is one of the latest additions to the 36 hotel strong portfolio the Golden Tulip Hospitality Group have built across the Middle East and Africa.
The Golden Tulip hotel chain currently manage more than 900 hotels in 50 different countries.
