Golden Tulip adds Lucknow property
Golden Tulip Hospitality Group has completed a deal with Avadh Projects which will see a new Tulip Inn hotel opening in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
The three-star, 50-bedroom Tulip Inn Lucknow's facilities will include two restaurants; the Lucknow 6, an all day restaurant serving Avadi and Mughlai cuisine, and Just Baked, a lounge serving light bites.
The hotel also boasts conferencing facilities able to cater for 500 seated delegates or 1,000 guest in reception style.
Vimal J Singh, managing director, Golden Tulip Hotels India, said the opening is part of the company's strategy to open international standard hotels in all state capitals in India.
Golden Tulip Hotels India is a 50:50 joint venture company between Golden Tulip Hospitality Group and New York, US-based The Leyland Group.
It has been set up to develop, manage and secure franchise deals for Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn branded hotels in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Maldives and Mauritius.
