Good progress made by AALARA karting Association
The AALARA karting association has meet a number of times since the formation of the group at the inaugural meeting at the AALARA Conference in May 2005.
Since then good progress has been made by the newly elected committee of go-kart representatives on the submission to the standards committee for the acceptance of a revised set of guideline more suited to today’s karting industry.
The body made up of karting representatives, WH&S officers and headed by AALARA board director Gary Wachter has circulated the new submission to all members and are in the final stages of finalizing the draft.
Mr Wachter recently remarked that the representatives have worked hard at putting the draft together and is appreciative of the feed back received from the industry.
He also wants all operators who have not managed to get their feed back in too take the opportunity to have their say before the document is offered to the Australian Standards committee at the next national meeting to be held early in 2008.
