GoodLife fitness catches commuter traffic
Canada-based GoodLife Fitness opens its 73rd facility this month, in the heart of Toronto's Union train station.
The 24,000sq ft facility will include a fitness suite, a tanning facility and a 4,000sq ft group exercise studio offering classes including yoga and pilates. Personal trainers will also be on hand to work with members.
'The Union Station area is a hotbed of major business activity in downtown Toronto and our prime market for membership will be business people,' says the club's manager, Sophie Adams.
'We're also hoping to catch some of the commuter traffic - people waiting for train connections who are often frustrated, bored or uncomfortable and they may want to slip in for a workout. '
GoodLife members have access to any of the chain's 73 clubs, so anyone visiting Toronto will also be able to make use of the Union Station facility. Details: www.goodlifefitness.com
