Great Wolf Resorts extends spa brands
Great Wolf Resorts is to open two new properties in the US, each including an Elements Spa for adults and a Scooops Kid Spa for teens and tweens.
The first of the new Great Wolf Lodge properties will open in Grapevine, Texas, near Dallas, in December this year.
The Elements Spa at Grapevine will cover approximately 4,000sq ft (372sq m).
The second property, in Grand Mound, Washington, will launch in March 2008, with a 3,500sq ft (325sq m) Elements Spa.
Treatments at the two Elements Spas will incorporate both Western and ayurvedic traditions, and will use products from botanical skincare range Aveda.
Facilities will include approximately nine treatment rooms – one with Kohler chromatherapy tubs – as well as a couples’ treatment room.
The ice-cream themed Scooops Kid Spas will use the Me! Bath range of products, and will offer mainly manicures and pedicures.
Both Great Wolf properties will also offer a wide range of accommodation as well as numerous other amenities for families, including an indoor waterpark.
