Green light for Crealy's camping plans
Crealy Great Adventure Park near Exeter, Devon, has been given the green light to develop a new touring caravan and camping site by East Devon District Council.
The new site will be developed adjacent to the amusement park and forms part of an ongoing development programme being undertaken by the 100-acre (40.5-hectare) visitor attraction. Plans for the new touring caravan and camping site allow for the provision of 138 plots with touring pitches for large and super pitch set-ups and offer power hook-ups.
Maximum Fun Holdings (MFH) - the company behind the Crealy Great Adventure Parks in both Cornwall and Devon - expect work to be completed ahead of the 2012 season. MFH managing director Rod Pearson said: "The plans that we drew up last year are now starting to come to fruition, and the new campsite is just one of the developments we will be making."
