Green light for Huddersfield Town proposal
Syngenta Sports and Fitness Club members have voted in favour of a proposal that will see Huddersfield Town Football Club (HTFC) operate the facility.
Nearly 99 per cent of voting members backed the Canalside Project, which will see the club renamed Huddersfield Recreation Ground and will help preserve usage and access rights. The club incorporates a fitness suite equipped with Life Fitness machines, as well as football, croquet, bowling, ladies hockey and snooker facilities.
Landlord Dean Hoyle is set to acquire the freehold to the site under a separate deal with site owner Sygenta as part of the proposal.
