Green light for new Snowdonia visitor facilities
Snowdonia National Park Authority (SNPA) has backed plans for the development of new visitor facilities at Ystradlyn Cottage, which is located at the foot of Cadair Idris.
The Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) is behind the proposals, which is set to include a tea room and exhibition space at the property. CCW regional director Tim Jones said: "I hope the cottage can open for business as soon as possible and becomes a hub of activity for the local community and visitors to the area."
