Grimsby planning for new 12,000-seater stadium
Grimsby Town Football Club is ready to submit a planning application for a new stadium at Great Coates.
The club’s directors hope to have the 12,000-seat Conoco Stadium open by the beginning of the 2008-9 season.
John Fenty, chair, said: “The initial feasibility studies have been carried out and the developers are keen to take forward the development as soon as we have secured the support of the North East Lincolnshire Council.” Details: www.gtfc.co.uk
