Gym Group reveals lively reopening video explaining COVID-19 protocols
UK budget operator, The Gym Group, has revealed its new reopening video for customers, fronted by CEO, Richard Darwin, with support from team members.
The company has implemented a range of measures, including anti-viral fogging, social distancing and a one-way system, with a separate entrance and exit.
Contactless access control is also being developed.
Doors to the gym lock when it reaches capacity and members can check for slots on the Gym Group app.
The company has developed a #safewithus programme, as well as in-gym announcement reminding members about the safety measures that are in place and the overarching #GymItTogether message.
Kit has been spaced out and screens installed, while PTs will wear masks during sessions.
Members are asked to clean equipment, wash hands regularly and keep two meters apart at all times.
All gyms have been provided with a COVID-19 'Battle Box' with everything needed to keep the gym compliant.
