Gym members aim for place in Games final
Gym members up and down the country are sweating it out to win a place in the final of the Health Club Games.
Launched in June, more than 1,000 people have registered with the Games, which culminate in the grand final at the Next Generation Club in Hatfield in October.
The top 20 qualifiers from each event – both male and female – as well as the top 50 teams in the team row and the team superthon will be invited to the final.
The event is run by The Fix UK in association with the homeless charity Shelter and is sponsored by Oracle.
The Games encourage members to take part in a variety of events at their local club including rowing, running and cycling as well as the Superthon, a decathlon-style event based on a points system. Details: www.healthclubgames.com
