Gyms thrash pubs by over 2,000% in google reopening searches

Interest in gym reopening in England is reaching fever pitch, with an announcement expected any time now.

To calibrate interest and lighten the mood at this tense time, HCM has done an analysis of google search results.

We found the search term 'When will UK Gyms reopen?' has been used 1,400,000,000 (1.4bn) times.

In contrast, 'When will UK pubs reopen?' measured a meagre 66,200,000 (66.2m).

That's a 2,114.8 per cent win for gyms.

A clear indication – we think – that gyms beat pubs hand down when it comes to consumer interest.

As soon as we have news of the reopening announcement, which we understand is coming at 5.00pm today (9 July) we'll be posting it on our website and news and social feeds.
