HLF funding for antique book scheme
Nearly 2,000 antique books - including the first Belfast printing of Robert Burns' poems - are to be put on display thanks to Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) support.
Belfast's Linen Hall Library has secured £50,000 towards plans to catalogue and restore its Languages of Ulster collections, which date back to the 15th century. Paul Mullan, head of HLF Northern Ireland, said: "Through the exhibition, workshops and distributions of reprinted editions, access to this historic collection will be increased."
