Halo signs IT deal with Wincanton trust
Halo Leisure has come to the aid of a smaller leisure trust by offering to provide a fully managed IT service.
Wincanton Community Sports Centre, a trust which provides leisure services on behalf of South Somerset District Council, has agreed a three-year contract with Halo Leisure, which will provide new desktop hardware, all supported and managed from Halo's base in Hereford.
A spokesperson for Halo said: " The significance of this arrangement is that it allows a small organisation like Wincanton to play to its strengths in providing leisure services sensitive to local conditions while enjoying a first-class IT provision that takes advantage of the economies of scale available to the larger organisation.
"Halo's greater experience in developing and using specific software applications will also be an asset to the Wincanton Team."
