Harrod setting new goals
Suffolk-based sports equipment manufacturer Harrod UK has launched a new range of integrally weighted football goals.
Developed and independently tested to meet FA guidelines and BSEN standards, the Integral Weight Porta-Goal is claimed to be completely safe to use at all times without the need for separate anchorage but is still perfectly manoeuvrable.
Made from aluminium, the goal comes in four sizes - Senior, Junior, Mini soccer and Five a Side - with a back bar at ground level consisting of individual galvanised steel rollers, of which the Senior version has twelve. Two pneumatic swivel wheels at the front end allow it to be easily moved by four adults.
Fitted with 70 unique lock on synthetic net hooks, the goal has a total weight of 189kg and can be used on all artificial and grass surfaces.
