Hattie David-Wilkinson, global head of wellness and longevity for iconic luxury hotel group Maybourne, has revealed the company’s growth plans include the launch of Surrenne products and retreats in 2026.

Read the exclusive interview in Spa Business with David-Wilkinson, where she described the future of the group’s recently-launched longevity and wellness concept Surrenne.

The membership model provides guests with a full range of tracked diagnostics, access to longevity technology, initiatives guided by a Scientific Advisory Board and holistic treatments.

In 2026, The Maybourne Riviera in France will host the first of Surrenne’s retreats. The programming will integrate the concept’s philosophy of science, nature and connection.

David-Wilkinson described existing members as well-informed about their lifestyles, but they want to increase their healthspans.

She said: “They’re doing the right things – they don’t eat processed food, they’re all very active. But what they’re really concerned with is cognitive performance and decline, so we’re increasingly interested in brain optimisation, through treatments, sensory design and detailed programmes.”

The retreat programming is set to address some of these concerns.

“We’re committed to ensuring wellness is holistically integrated into the whole experience, from pre-arrival to aftercare,” added David-Wilkinson.

“Wellness is no longer considered merely a luxury, but is now a decision driver, especially among affluent, health-conscious travellers,” added David Wilkinson. “We’re seeing a shift in language – from ‘pampering’ to ‘resilience’, ‘regeneration’ and ‘longevity.’

“The future isn’t just about living longer – it’s about living better.”
