The new Gesundheitszentrum Gailtal Club in Hermagor, Austria, has recently opened to provide people in the local community with a one-stop shop for their health and fitness needs.
The club is situated in the Burger Moos region of Austria and is connected to a cross-country ski track.
It also offers a health club, spa and on-site doctor’s surgery offering GP services, sports medicine, physiotherapy, nutritional advice and weight management programmes.
The club has a fully-equipped gym with state of the art Precor CV kit. Indoor classes include aerobics, pilates, yoga and group cycling, as well as specialist programmes such as dorsal classes and senior gymnastics.
Outdoor classes include inline skating, nordic walking, jogging and cross-country skiing.
Wolfgang Wernitznig, club founder and owner, says: “We wanted to take the stress out of staying well.
“The club offers a range of health professionals under one roof who are able to offer advice on a number of different issues, whether you want a medical prescription, sport injury treatment or a tailored lifestyle plan.”
