Helen Fisher to lead Nine Elms regeneration
Helen Fisher, the former director of two private sector regeneration consulting firms, is to lead one of Europe's largest redevelopment programmes in Vauxhall Nine Elms, London.
Fisher has been named as the new Vauxhall Nine Elms director, reporting to the Vauxhall Nine Elms Strategy Board. A number of major schemes are currently planned for the area.
The strategy board will oversee the regeneration of 450 acres (182 hectares) of land between Battersea Park and Lambeth Bridge, and includes the Battersea Power Station site.
Fisher said: "Vauxhall Nine Elms is the most exciting regeneration scheme anywhere in the country. The area will completely transform over the next decade."
