Heritage railway unveils station campaign
A new fundraising campaign has been launched by Cambrian Heritage Railways (CHR) as part of efforts to acquire a former station at Llynclys, Shropshire.
The route between Gobowen, Blodwell and Pant has already been secured by the organisation, which is seeking to buy the Llynclys Station to fill the last remaining gap. A limited company will now be set up in order to issue shares costing £500 to help fund a bid for the privately-owned station, which will form part of the newly-restored railway.
