Herne Bay regeneration masterplan approved
A hotel and two public squares could be developed in the centre of Herne Bay, Kent, after a masterplan for the town's regeneration was given the green light.
The Herne Bay Central Development Area Masterplan received the approval of Canterbury City Council (CCC) at its meeting on 17 February. A new food store, shops, residential units and a medical centre are also proposed under the scheme, which is being led by CCC in partnership with Denne Construction and Coplan Estates.
