Hertsmere invests in disabled access
Leisure trust Hertsmere Leisure has teamed up with disability organisation DisabledGo to provide detailed access information about their leisure and sports facilities.
The move is part of plans to attract more disabled users to the sites.
A DisabledGo surveyor has gathered information on the trust's facilities which will be made available free of charge on the organisation’s website
Information ranges from the availability of parking and adapted toilets to the very specific, including how doors open, the car park surface type, whether hearing assistance systems are available even the type of IFI accredited equipment that is available.
