High rise hotel to open in Birmingham
Rezidor SAS is to open the 211-room Radisson SAS Birmingham at the landmark Beetham Tower later this year.
The 39-storey hotel, located in the city centre adjacent to the main railway station, will be Birmingham’s tallest building.
Facilities will include an Italian restaurant, lobby bar, a health club with sauna and treatment rooms. The entire second and third floors will be dedicated to conferencing and events, with five meeting rooms.
The hotel’s main event room will be 108sq m, accommodating 120 delegates in theatre style seating.
Kathrine Ohm Thomas, the hotel’s general manager, said: “This is a really exciting project for Radisson SAS, bringing European flair to the heart of Birmingham and contributing to the city’s ongoing transformation.”
Rezidor SAS operates four brands – Radisson, Park Inn, Regent and Country Inn – and currently has 890 sites in 68 countries.
