A 7 Spa, hailed as the largest in Portugal, is to open in July at the new Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas.

Located within five hectares of private gardens, the 21,818sq ft (2,027sq m) spa is owned by 7 Spa Holding and marketed as both a destination and resort spa. Its owners claim it will be the largest spa in Portugal when it launches.

Managed by the Imocom group, the 7 Spa at Cascatas Vilamoura will cover two floors and also have 7,600sq ft (706sq m) of external gardens.

It will feature a spa restaurant, seven treatment rooms, a relaxation area, a changing room and a suite with a hydropool, a sauna, a Turkish bath, massage slab and aromatic showers.

The spa will use Elemis products and focus on holistic treatments such as shiatsu and ayurvedic massage alongside aesthetic offerings such as detoxing.
