The Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa in British Columbia, Canada, has expanded its conference facilities following a CAN$52.7m (£25m, 37m euro, US$47.5m) revamp.

The hotel now offers more than 15,000sq ft (1,400sq m) of indoor and outdoor meeting space for up to 1,000 delegates.

Additional facilities comprise nine meetings rooms, including a 4,000sq ft (370sq m) ballroom for 500 delegates featuring a 3,200sq ft (300sq m) licensed outdoor courtyard with a central firepit and heated walkways in winter.
