Hilton Hotels Corporation has appointed Simon Vincent as its new area president for the UK and Ireland.
Vincent will join Hilton in January next year from Opodo, the online travel agent, where he is chief executive.
Ian Carter, international operations CEO for Hilton, said: “I am delighted to welcome Simon to Hilton, he brings broad international experience across online and offline retail, tour operating and airline businesses within the leisure sector.”
Vincent will be succeeding Howard Friedman, who is returning to the US following more than 17 years with the company.” Details: www.hilton.com
