Hilton continues to expand in Turkey with new upscale coastal resort in Kusadasi
DoubleTree by Hilton is continuing its Turkish expansion with the opening of a new coastal resort in Kusadasi overlooking Kusadasi Bay and the Aegean Sea.
This latest opening joins Hilton Worldwide's rapidly expanding portfolio with more than 21 new properties set to open across Turkey in the next few years.
The new DoubleTree by Hilton Kusadasi features 87 guestrooms and a selection of four restored stone cottages within the grounds of the hotel.
Leisure facilities include a spa and wellbeing centre, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness centre with luxury treatments and traditional Turkish Hammam.
Four dining options are on offer including the Piccione A La Carte restaurant, serving authentic Italian cuisine; the rooftop restaurant serving local sea food catches with incredible views across the bay; Jacana Sushi Bar for poolside cuisine; and the Linnet Patisserie offering pastries, cakes, traditional tea and Turkish coffee.
Other facilities include 3,875 sq ft (360 sq m) of events space with five meeting rooms, a 24-hour business centre and video conferencing facilities.
The group currently has 24 properties operating in Bodrum, Dalaman, Istanbul, Bursa, Cappadocia and Konya.
John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, said: "This property will put DoubleTree on the map in our sixth Turkish location, joining upscale properties in Istanbul, Ankara and Cappadocia and further extending the renowned warm welcome of DoubleTree by Hilton to travellers visiting the region."
