Hilton opens in Pattaya
Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened the 302-room, new-build, full-service Hilton Pattaya, the company's fourth hotel in Thailand.
Owned by CPN Pattaya Beach Co and managed by Hilton Worldwide, the property is part of the new 240,000sq m (2.6m sq ft) Central Festival at Pattaya Beach complex. The mixed-use development comprises more than 300 shops and restaurants. With an exclusive ground floor entrance, the main lobby of Hilton Pattaya is on Level 16, with guest rooms and suites located from Level 19 up to Level 33 of the hotel tower. All the rooms provide 180˚ views of Pattaya Bay from individual private balconies, with some of the rooms being fitted with panoramic outdoor bathtubs.
The hotel houses three restaurants, including the rooftop Horizon, scheduled to open in June 2011; and two bars. Wellness facilities include an Eforea Spa, opening in March 2011 and combining three distinct ranges of treatments based on organic, natural and scientific principles; an outdoor infinity edge swimming pool; and a Precor-equipped health club.
Event space is provided in the shape of a 635sq m (6,835sq ft) ballroom and four meeting rooms. Image: (c) 2010 Hilton Hotels & Resorts
