Hilton opens second Home2 Suites property
Hilton Worldwide has opened the second property to be operated under its newest brand – the mid-tier Home2 Suites – in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
The 107-room, four-story extended-stay Fayette hotel was developed in partnership with property manager Western States Lodging and the property’s owner Summit Lodging.
The Home2 Suite concept was unveiled two years ago and Hilton has set out a rapid expansion schedule for the brand with 63 hotels planned and 40 in the development stage. Hilton hopes to open the 100th property in the US by 2014.
Five properties are currently under construction and are slated to open in 2011 or early 2012, including San Antonio, Texas; Baltimore and Lexington Park, Maryland; West Valley City, Utah and North Charleston, South Carolina.
