Hilton signs up Conrad Beijing
Hilton Hotels Corporation has signed a management agreement with China Merchants Property Development Company to operate the Conrad Beijing hotel in Beijing, China.
The 300-bedroom property will feature an urban spa and meeting facilities, as well as a variety of all-day dining and speciality restaurants, including a rooftop bar and restaurant.
Located in the city’s Central Business District, Conrad Beijing will join Hilton’s Conrad Hotels & Resorts branded portfolio when it opens at the end of 2010.
Koos Klein, area president of Hilton Hotels Asia Pacific, said: “The Conrad Beijing will be a stunning addition to our growing portfolio of luxury properties in China, building on the success of the Conrad Hong Kong which opened in 1990 and our upcoming Conrad Shanghai which opens in August this year.”
