Hilton targets Barbie girls
Hilton Buenos Aires has joined forces with toy manufacturer Mattel to create a Barbie room for children at the Argentinean hotel.
On the fifth floor of the hotel, room 538 is now a haven for Barbie fans: Barbie sheets on the bed, towels in the bathroom, curtains at the window; not to mention the posters and accessories.
Every guest staying in the room, the first in the world with the Barbie theme, will also receive an original Barbie doll.
“Barbie Room is the first thematic room in the hotel and we are proud to have established this agreement with such a recognised company as Mattel,’ said Patricio Álvarez, general manager of the hotel.
The room, which opened in July, connects to a deluxe room for parents. Details: www.hiltongroup.com
