Hilton to open in India
Hilton International and EIH have announced a strategic alliance for co-branding hotels in India under the Trident Hilton brand.
The agreement covers nine hotels across the country, including the flagship Oberoi Towers in Mumbai, which will be rebranded as Hilton Towers.
Additionally, existing Trident hotels in Agra, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Jaipur and Udaipur, plus the proposed new hotels in Gurgaon and North Mumbai, will become Trident Hilton.
Under the alliance, EIH will continue to manage and operate all of the hotels, most of which either they or their affiliated companies own. They will also continue to undertake domestic marketing, promotion and reservations in India.
Hilton will be responsible for international marketing, promotion and reservations throughout the Hilton International network. Details: www.hiltongroup.com
