Hilton to open its third Leeds hotel
Hilton Worldwide has announced it will open its third hotel in Leeds, with construction expected to start later this year.
According to local media, the £32m five-star hotel would be 14-storeys high and feature a top floor sky bar. It would be located near Leeds Arena.
A spokesperson for Hilton Worldwide said: "The Leeds Area development is set to further boost the city's position as an attractive entertainment and retail destination.
"We have entered a conditional agreement with GB Group to develop a new property near this exciting location and hope that construction will commence later this year."
Hilton already has a strong presence in Leeds operating the Hilton Leeds City hotel and DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Centre.
