Hilton to rollout US brands worldwide
US-based Hilton Corporation is set to expand its Doubletree, Hilton Garden Inns and Hampton Inns mid-market brands worldwide.
The group plans to rollout more than 1,200 properties worldwide within five years, with the number of UK hotels set to double from 70 to 140 within five to seven years.
The new properties will be owned by outside investors and managed by Hilton Corporation in the first instance. Later, some will be franchised to third parties to own and operate.
The rollout is a direct result of the acquisition of the UK-based Hilton Group by Hilton Corporation, which permitted them to develop outside North America. Details: www.hilton.com
