Hodge returns to ministerial post
Margaret Hodge has returned to her former ministerial position at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), following a period of compassionate leave.
Hodge will resume ministerial responsibility for architecture, culture, heritage and tourism after replacing Barbara Follett, the new parliamentary under secretary of state at the Department for Communities and Local Government. First appointed to the DCMS in 2007, Hodge was reappointed on 22 September, following a year out of government on compassionate leave.
