Home delivery is future of food
Research commissioned by Domino's Pizza has revealed that by 2010 the UK's home delivery pizza market will more than double to around £800m.
The Future Foundation has estimated that home-delivered foods and takeaways will benefit from an increasing number of childless couples and single person households with more disposable income.
It claims that the sector will 'continue increasing at constant prices by 2.5 per cent a year on average'.
Domino's has announced like for like sales increases of 6.3 per cent for the five weeks to 29 December and will release year-end results in February.
