Host announced for Health Club Awards
Mark Durden-Smith has been announced as host of the first ever Members' Choice Health Club Awards, taking place on Wednesday 21 September at Hilton Birmingham Metropole NEC.
Famous for his ITV2 coverage of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Durden-Smith previously presented Sky Sports Centre and was the front man of Sky's Bafta winning rugby coverage from 1997.
Commenting on the awards, he said: "No one loves a knee lunge and a bench press more than I and I'm especially excited to be asked to help out with the Health Club Awards as they are voted for by us gym users.
"The voice of the people will be heard! The winners really will have something to shout about, and I am looking forward to a great night - off the carrot shakes!".

The awards, which will award winners in 14 categories, have been designed to help health clubs promote themselves locally.
They are the first consumer awards in the industry that recognise excellence in customer service by asking members to vote for their clubs.
