Hotel group announces management changes
The London-based luxury hotel group, Dorchester, has announced a series of managerial changes.
Ricci Obertelli has been promoted from his position as chief operations officer to the post of development director.
He will report to the board of directors and will be responsible for overseeing the group’s expansion strategy worldwide.
Meanwhile, Francois Delahaye, general manager of the group’s Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris, will add the responsibilities of group operations director to his current role.
Obertelli said: “We now own five hotels with a total of 1,204 rooms. With a clear development strategy, the plans are to expand the portfolio of hotels over the next 10 years while developing the Dorchester Group brand name.”
The group was established in 1996 and is wholly owned by the Brunei Investment Agency.
Its portfolio consists of The Dorchester in London, the Beverly Hills Hotel in California, the Hotel Meurice and Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris and the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan. Details: www.dorchestergrouphotels.com
