Hounslow Council to revamp three leisure centres
The London Borough of Hounslow has appointed construction group Sisk a £15m contract to carry out improvement works to three of its leisure centres.
The three centres, managed by Fusion Lifestyle on behalf of the council, are Feltham Airparcs, New Chiswick Pool and Isleworth Recreation Centre.
Work on all three sites will include new changing facilities, gyms, studios, crèches, cafés and work to the swimming pools.
At Feltham Airparcs, Hanworth Library will be relocated into the centre to create “leisure hub”. Similarly, Isleworth Recreation Centre will form a link will be formed between the centre and the library to create another hub.
The work is scheduled to be completed by next spring.
