Howells takes up national park post
The chair of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, Richard Howells, has been appointed deputy chair of the UK Association of National Parks (UKANP).
The appointment was made at the UKANP annual general meeting at Loch Lomond.
Howells' career includes a stint as the head of tourism and economic development with the former Preseli Pembrokeshire District Council and a term as the chair of the Welsh Association of National Park Authorities.
He is appointed to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority by the Welsh Assembly Government.
