Hyatt International extends to Brussels
Hyatt International has taken over management of the Barsey-Hotel Mayfair in Brussels. The hotel is to be re-branded as Hyatt Regency Brussels-Barsey.
Based in the city centre, the hotel has 99 rooms and suites, the Barsey restaurant, two meeting rooms, a fitness room and a private garage. A rooftop fitness centre is to be added to the 12-storey building, offering clients a view of the city while working out.
The hotel was recently redesigned with a Napoleon III style by Jacques Garcia. Garcia has also worked on the Majestic Hotel in Cannes and the Fouquet's and Laduree restaurant on the Champs Elysees.
Hyatt International has over 200 hotels and resorts around the world. As the capital of Europe, Hyatt was keen to include Brussels in their network.
Area Vice President, Michael Jauslin, says: 'Location takes precedence in high-end properties and we are thrilled to have such a prestigious address added to our portfolio.'
