Hyatt open in Italy
Hyatt International opens its first hotel in Italy this summer in Milano.
The 117-room hotel, in the heart of the city dates from 1870 and was originally built as a hotel, but later used as apartments and offices. Interior architect and designer, Ed Tutle, describes his vision for the hotel as having a very monolithic feeling: 'Park Hyatt Milano will stay true to the structure's historic style, but we're giving it a refined, contemporary attitude.'
Twenty-seven suites include three presidential suites and a diplomatic suite with private terraces. The Club Olympus Health Spa has a gym, steam rooms and two treatment rooms offering a variety of beauty and holistic treatments.
The hotel restaurant seats 80 guests and the hotel offers 335sq m of natural daylight meeting and reception areas.
There are now 208 Hyatt Hotels and Resorts worldwide. Details: www.hyatt.com
