Hyatt signs management agreements for five new Indian hotels
Hyatt Hotels Corporation and DB Hospitality Pvt., part of DB Group, have signed agreements under which Hyatt will operate five new hotel properties in India.
The properties, currently scheduled to open on various dates between mid-2010 and early 2014, include the 255-room Park Hyatt Mumbai, the 314-room Grand Hyatt Goa, the 325-room Grand Hyatt Pune, the 130-room Hyatt Place Pune, and the 150-room Hyatt Place Mundra. DB Hospitality Pvt. will develop and own the properties, all of which will be situated in major business centers. The plans include luxury and upscale guest accommodation, serviced apartments, authentic dining options, and banquet/meeting facilities.
Hyatt has operated properties in India since 1983 and currently manages the Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, the Grand Hyatt Mumbai, the Hyatt Regency Mumbai, the Hyatt Regency Delhi, and the Hyatt Regency Kolkata.
