Hyatt to launch resort at UNESCO town
US-based resort operator Hyatt Hotels Corporation will open a new 30-acre seafront property at the UNESCO World Heritage town of St. George's on Bermuda's exclusive northeast coast.
The US$160m (€120m, £102m) property will be branded as a Park Hyatt resort and include an 14,000sq ft (1,300sqm) luxury Hyatt Pure spa; 111 bedrooms; 4,000sq ft (370sq m) of conferencing space; and an 18-hole Nick Faldo-designed championship golf course.
The resort is scheduled to open in November 2011 looks to tap into Bermuda's growing reputation as a golf destination.
Hyatt signed a management agreement with a Bermudian development company owned by members of Bazarian International Financial Associates in 2008.
