Hyatt to open boutique hotel in Miami
Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Hotel Victor on Miami’s South Beach.
Hyatt will manage the boutique hotel, which is to open in April, but it will be the first in the group’s portfolio to have no Hyatt branding visible.
The 91-room hotel has interiors designed by Paris-based designer, Jacques Garcia and includes a mezzanine floor in the lobby with a large jellyfish tank and hanging lamps designed “to resemble the translucent creature of the sea”.
The hotel boasts Pool Bungalow rooms with private outdoor showers and terraces adjoining the pool area and the 770sq ft Ocean Suites will have panoramic windows with ocean views. A 3,000sq ft Penthouse will have a separate lift and two outdoor terraces.
A 6,000sq ft spa with seven treatment rooms will also be opening.
